So it's been a week and a few days and nobody has told me anything about my problem with my base chunks. When loaded, they deadlock the whole server. I'm not at all angry about the bug, I am more disappointed in the lack of effort the staff have put in to even replying to the messages I send them. Just to be clear, this is going to be the third forum post and countless message in which I have mentioned my issue. I assume there are three ways to go about fixing the problem. 1. I need someone to look into the server logs into and fix the severe bug which is causing something in my base to crash the server 2. Delete my base. 3. Forget about SKCraft. Number 1. is obviously the preferred way of fixing the issue, and prevents the problem from happening to another poor chap. On the contrary, number 2. deletes everything I own and I am back at square one. Number 3. is ridiculous although I have considered it throughout the ordeal. It seems the only way to get the attention from staff anymore is to log into SKCraft and crash the server so I have a couple minutes to converse with them before they restart the server for everyone to enjoy. This makes the thick-skulled players on SKCraft very rambunctious as they do not understand the measures I have tried first before logging in to bring light to my issue. Moving forward, I hope the players of SKCraft will understand why I have lowered myself to the level where I crash the server to get attention, and that the staff of SKCraft now know the troubles I have been having with Alice.
Well we were trying to find away to do it without resetting your base, SK himself has posted he's been busy and resetting chunks is an SK only thing. Since this is how you feel I'm more than happy to quit, and reset. I'll be sure to pass this along as my recommendation, along with the disabling of the Mek pipes.
cooperisdunn: Today is the first I'm hearing about this issue, and same with the rest of staff. I just looked at your profile and it appears you posted about it a week ago in the "All Things Alice" section, which is not where bug reports should be made. We have forums specifically for reporting bugs, and we regularly check these areas for new posts. Posts in the general discussion areas tend to get lost in the clutter. Demenzia, a moderator, has attempted to open a conversation with you but has not received a reply (that I know of) in regards to this issue. It appears this issue has something to do with Mekanism pipes in your base, and it's only affecting your base for some reason. We are working to figure out and resolve the issue, so please be patient. We'll be back in touch shortly.
If he's willing to wait till we do an update (likely a week at least from friday) he can keep his base and lose the pipes. Other option when SK has time he'll reset the area. A third still requires us to delete his base, but if possible delete his player file.
Maybe the "All Things Alice" section should be renamed to something less misleading, because my issue definitely has "Everything to do with Alice". I also posted about my issue when SK stated he had been busy asking if there were any ongoing problems with his server. Again, going unnoticed. Demenzia opened a conversation with me, about an hour ago, telling me that I have been banned. That is all the communication that I have received other than a conversation with xCromyx on skype that I guess he failed to mention to you guys as:
Clearly the skcraft staff is plotting to undermine you Sorry we don't like having the server crash and rollback 30 minutes of progress. I know you were specifically talking about me, don't worry. Anyways, I'll stop pissing you off and let the staff do their work.

I wish it was your base that had the problem so you could handle it so much better. Also, having no contact other than a conversation with cromy I check in from time to time to see if my base had been deleted and or I had been moved to spawn. You talk about all this progress you lose, all I see is load of over-exaggeration.
Well, there's a reason that there are forums clearly titled "Report A Bug" and "Crash Issues." Hopefully those titles aren't misleading. You've also told a staff member you posted 3 times in the "Ask A Moderator" section, but I find nothing there. Temporarily to prevent more crash issues. Granted, given what you've said, this may be re-considered since it appears you intentionally logged in to crash the server. Also, please do not attack the community, calling people "thick-skulled" and generally being rude to everyone else (likewise, the same applies to those who have rudely commented here). The way I see it, you can either: 1) Be patient while we work to resolve this problem, or2) Continue with the attitude and be banned from the server and community.Please remember that all the server staff are VOLUNTEER and we receive NO COMPENSATION WHATSOEVER for our efforts to maintain this community. This is not our full time job, we all have lives, friends, families, and jobs that take up most of our time, and as such we can't instantly respond to every little issue. We are not required to do any specific tasks, and when you take an attitude, it makes people much less likely to help you. If you're patient, the issue will be handled in time. This is a very complex issue, and we have only had a little time to review it. We will do our best to save your base, but there is no guarantee that we will be able to do so. Just be patient.
Can we stop antagonizing him? Like, really. He has not gotten a lot of feedback from Staff on this issue. Cromy has occasionally tried to help to identify what the issue was, as early as when it was first presenting, but then he kind of dropped off the radar. It is not selfish to want to be able to play. It's selfish to knowingly crash the server just to get attention, but at least I empathize with how difficult it can be to get attention of the Staff. That said, All things Alice is more like a general dumping ground of everything. You're welcome to post bugs and such there... they just may not get noticed. The more specialized sections exists so that ONLY bug stuff goes through and therefore gets noticed and address.
This is the only reason we antagonize him. We all know it's not his fault his base is broken, but there are clearly other ways to get something fixed than to knowingly crash the server (basically grief, in a sense) for attention. Could contact SK plenty of ways - Skype, Steam, email, etc. This is really my only point, and all I'm going to leave this topic at that.
For the record, the proper way to report issues is posting in the appropriate section on the forums. If you contact SK directly off forum, only SK has the report, and if he misses it or puts it off (as is common) and forgets, then the issue won't get resolved. If it's on the forums, the entire MPT can see, track, and work to resolve the issue. There's a reason the forums are organized the way they are.

I really dislike when the staff harasses users and tempting them into committing minor rule violations to have an excuse for a ban. Or if you can't find a minor rule violation just keep up the harassment until they quit the server, that works to for you demmy? Both of these cases have nothing to do with my ban btw. So can we truly be friends? <3
