Okay so this only started happening after the restart. I start up my computer and do a few things then I load SkCraft. I look at the server and only have one bar and I'm extremely laggy in game. This happens for me and a few of my basemates. I noticed if I leave my computer on with SkCraft loaded then I get better connection in a couple hours. I know it's not my internet as you can see below and my computer is fine, but it bugs me to have 3 minute long lag spikes and I want to be able to play when I get on. Sorry if this sounds whinny, but I just would like to know how to resolve this. Thanks.
What do you have at your base? I removed some machines (Rotarycraft solar generators, steam engines and pumps) and that seemed to help me out drastically. I was also having a lot of dropped connections due to my ISP. It got really bad yesterday for some reason it kept dropping packets just as it left my local backbone and I was getting a timeout every 3 mins. So I switched connections to eduardo.sk89q.com. IDK if this is a proxy or what, but the traceroute showed it taking a completely different path after that and I have no more DCs/dropped packets. Internet speed is not everything, sometimes there is just a crappy connection somewhere along the line that you have to find a way around. Also, what OS are you using?
Okay well I know it's no machines for starters... It gets better after I leave the client on. My internet provider isn't the case as I only have problems with Sk's website and Mc server. I'll try switching ips in a moment. Also not my connection. And I run Windows 7
