Modded survival or vanilla one

    Hello everyone :)

    I'm new around here, so I've seen there's 2 servers.
    One is the vanilla and the other is with industrialcraft if I am correct.

    Now I had some experience with industrialcraft before, but, I want to know on
    which server do people play more? So I can know to which one should I dedicate myself to.

    I'd say right now it's probably half and half since the update. But people got tired of industrialcraft, so I think that one will get less activity soon. Unless new mods get added? I dunno; it's a toughy.

    Both are equally famous, just depends on what you prefer..vanilla or chocolate xD

    Choclit was more famous before the 1.2 update on vanilla. Once the world is reset and updated to 1.2, i think more people will play on alice.

    a more accurate description for alice is vanilla with chocolate chips, sprinkles, syrup, bananas, and other mods to the original ice cream.

    anyway, yes, many ppl play alice, but for the moment, everyone is waiting for the big server reset, so to kill time, u can keep playin vincent (vanilla).

    Theres usually a decent amount on both. I play Vincent exclusively, myself.

    Most people play Vincent at the moment ( such as me ) but when alice gets updated im going back

    About mods on vincent: what are mods that are legit on vincent (and a great help in gameplay)??

    I mean stuff mentioned in the wiki:

    "No modifications can be used that give you an advantage over other players.
    Definitely not allowed: Fly mods, X-ray/ore finders
    Allowed: Basic minimap with markers and cave view, light level indicators"

    So I was searching for a nice minimap and a mod for light level indicators for example.
    What do you guys use or any recommendations??

    Oh, I didn't know you meant client mods. Most people use Rei's Minimap.

    Most players play on Alice since it was reset for 1.2.3.
