Wow. I'm just... wow. I want to say that the removal of automated mining really makes me happy. I had discussed it with some others in other threads and on TeamSpeak, but I didn't expect it to actually happen. I really am looking forward to the lack of exponential growth of resources on the server.
I never said I was going to do anything like that.l Not that it matters, but tonius has done everything I said I was going to do. Plus I don't even play on the server anymore, so it doesn't matter
I really can't play anymore if I have to mine 24/7. Maybe I'm over reacting but mining is pretty much my least favorite task, and the amount of it that'll probably be required for some of these new mods irks me. I don't see the point of trading mined resources either, because you have to mine to get the payment.. Are RotaryCraft's Boring Machines disabled too? (misleading title, pretty exciting machine >_>) edit: found out they are
Well i would love to play on new modpack but... Everytime i try to play i get crash after few seconds of playing http://pastebin.com/vbdjXC1L
Thats not a crash report. Post the actual crash report, its located here: Also pre-emptively try turning off the radar in your minimap.
Looking at that, it seems to be an issue with VoxelMap. Try going into singleplayer and disabling VoxelMap EntityRadar.
I had the same issue with VoxelMap. Turning off the mob radar cleared it right up. I may switch completely to the other minimap anyway.
You know its funny I seem to recall someone saying rather rudely that Tconstruct would never again be part of the modpack when I suggested that we simply toss gregtech into the nearest waste receptacle... now who was that? Oh thats right it was Flutter...
Tinker's Construct is server intensive. The mod is rather inefficiently written, relative to many of the others in the modpack. BUT... when you aren't having 500 auto-mining lasers/quarries running all the time, producing materials constantly that need to be processed constantly by 20 afk players, the penalties of TC are reduced and the benefits return to the fore. So Flutter's assertion made sense within the context it was said.
Myrddin you are correct but he could have said it nicely which was my point... that and don't deal in absolutes...
