Alice appears to have crashed. Strange seeing as how the TPS was nice and fluent. Everything was normal then suddenly everything froze except the chat. About a minute later I timed out, and I'm assuming so did everyone else.
Um, I don't think a whole thread is needed for this... But I agree with everything Drift says: Was all normal (or even better with barely any lag) and then the server crashed.
I'll have a look and prod SK or someone with console access on Skype. EDIT: Alice is online and everything seems fine.
Don't know what happened, but thanks for looking into it. Last thread I made got locked, otherwise I would have posted there. I think there needs to be a spot for people to report when the server's crashed where an automated system will poke the appropriate people on TS or maybe even Skype. Of course this would have to be engineered to avoid abuse. Although I guess it's not hard for someone to poke people on TS manually.
Kylania, a moderator who was on at the time of the crash, beat me to proding Flutter to restart it. Crashes like this are rare and don't really constitute needing such a system... besides, generally someone with the appropriate access, or the ability to get in touch with people with the appropriate access is on and will notice the issue. It may not be instant, but unless there's a major issue, the server should never be down too ling.
Usually when it's crashed while I'm on or it's been chronically laggy, it's in the middle of the night when no staff are on TS or in-game. Although what I didn't realize was that kylania was online when I made this thread.
