I was on the Server today and we discussed about how to balance things on Alice. I start this Poll so we can let SK know what we want to make the Server more fun.

End of this is in 2 weeks, i think everybody can get on here and vote in this time.

EE is waaay too OP-especially when you account for charcoal and lava cell creation. thats alot of spare cells to incinerate! (or just stick them back into the energy condenser-problem solved)

because you can combine them. which leads to unbalance. if we would have a skill-system, which would disable recipes from the other way ... well, maybe that would be cool. trading would get much more intresting...

    EE is very exploitable.

Though I love the backpacks. Maybe there is just a stripped down bag mod

also: why the vote for railcraft, shadow? you really think that's the source of unbalance when like.. two people have used it so far?

Please keep Railcraft. Its really fun and tricky to engineer good stations.

I'd have to agree with the majority here - uninstall EE. Although like @Pzl said, the bags and chests are really cool. I wouldn't mind keeping those or finding an alternative. Also PLEASE warn us before you uninstall the mod so we can make sure not to lose our loot. Thanks!

To the people who voted against Railcraft, ???
If anything, Railcraft makes you poor. The resources required are immense and it has no exploits or loopholes that gain you infinite resources or anything. I'm curious as to why you think Railcraft makes the game unbalanced.

I love EE. Perhaps it would be better to just disable certain features?

We've already done that. The problem is that the features most players like are the ones that are unbalanced. Maybe you could detail what features you love about EE?

Most of the bugs are caused by removing the EMC value from certain blocks. This is why the void ring produces infinite cobble. Since it has a value of 0 EMC and the ring has 0 EMC stored, 0/0 equals one because anything divided by itself is one (or so you'd think), and in java dividing by zero gives infinity instead of an error. Therefore it keeps spawning cobble, since all items above it actually have EMC.

I know EE is a bit OP, but that's why we love it.
I can understand nerfing the grief tools, but I think the solution here would be to give everything it's EMC value back (except if an OP item that unbalances other mods) and cut the speed of collectors to at most half their current speed.
I don't think uninstalling it would be a good idea

I agree with Pzl and Lord, we should definitely keep the alchemy bags at the very least.

I agree. Alchemy bags are essential.
Perhaps, if EE was nerfed so much that there were only alchemy bags/chests (which I am against, but it's better than nothing), maybe a special recipe could be implemented server-side so it wouldnt require EE stuff.

I think lord makes a valid point here, we should keep the alchemy bags.

I would love to use the Alchemy Bags on the future... but maybe there is another mod that just adds this kind of bags.

I would like alchemy bags but there is a mod called chest mod or something like that; you get wood, stone (I think), iron, gold and diamond chests, which have massive storage which is very useful... very very very useful-less leaks and thing like that. and no more storage areas... XD

Alchemy bags are very handy, but too spacious for their current cost of marginally more than one diamond.. One can transport 4 chests worth of goods with an IC2 teleporter at only the base cost of teleporting the player.

Edit: Another thing, all valuables can be stored away without risk of loss if one foresees the risk of dying, which is also pretty OP (again considering the bag's current price)
