When you try to send a command to a computer using the Terminal Glasses, the command is processed by the computer as well as sent out to chat.

The commands are in the format: $$[command]
The commands should preferably not be treated as regular chat.

Is there going to be a solution to this bug or is it already resolved?

Preferably I think this is something you actually need to talk to the mod-author about. Because unless the mod is open source, there is very little any of us can do about it.

It seems like you could make a simple plugin to just omit anything prefixed with $$ from public chat, rather than modifying the whole mod.

Yeah you could do that. But who's gonna be bothered to do it and get sk to add it to the server? Answer = no one.

I believe the mod hides it by default. It's just the chat plugin we have that is making it display.

EDIT: I just checked and the message does not show up in SSP.

It shouldn't be so problematic; it's not as if everyone uses them to the point that the chat is spammed with those commands. Unless it gets to the point of say, 30+ commands between restarts or something of that sort, then it should be deemed as an issue (IMO).

I'm not so sure you would like to see $$judkins get 110 236 or $$judkins tell amountof 236 every 3 seconds from me.

In that case, we could just add a line of code to the chat plugin to make all chat sent starting with "$$" to be only visible to the sender, and even though this visibility changes, the OpenPeripherals mod should still be able pick up the command. Although, this might be an issue similarly to what Shadow/Neon said.
