In the order of best to good. SomeLuigi's Peripherals (1.5.1/1.5.2): This mod adds a very cool peripheral which if used correctly, can be a replacement to the HTTP API. It adds a peripheral called the HTTP Server Service Module which allows you to run an HTTP server. When you activate it with start(), you can go to http://alice.sk89q.com:customport/computerid to see your server! In case you're not seeing the big picture here, let me show it to you: Spoiler If we're going straight to 1.6, please keep an eye on this mod for an update! CCTags (1.5.2/1.6): The basics of this mod is that it gives you tags that can be written to then placed in the world, items, and animals which can then be read by the peripherals that this mod adds. Imagine being able to brand your animals or even just use this as decor! Quote from the thread: Gopher's Peripherals (1.5.2/1.6): This is basically BioLock updated but it also adds a new peripheral that I'm interested in called the Keypad which does exactly what it sounds like in one block! You can program a keypad program but the problem with it is how big CC pixels are and that you can't make a pretty keypad in one block. This mod also adds a Programmable Redstone Block (PRB) which is a peripheral that you can program to output redstone on any side of it. If used correctly, It can serve as a viable replacement for Bundled Cable from RP2 when used with LAN cables. I believe a mod I suggested in the past functions very similar to this.
