What option for a reset would you pick?

  1. Wait until 1.6 and stay on 1.4 in the meantime.

    12.0%
  2. Update to 1.5 with possible a new world while keeping the 1.4 map up on another server.

    5.4%
  3. Update to 1.5 with a full reset then update to 1.6 with a full reset.

    30.4%
  4. Port the 1.4 map to 1.5 and update to 1.5 with the 'keep' functionality

If the mod-pack team doesn't want to put in the effort to carry over player inventories then why even talk about it in the first place? Either reset entirely and have everyone start over, or do what's necessary to carry them over as clean as possible. There likely isn't going to be an effortless method to carrying over player inventories when mods are being swapped in and out.

Don't give us excuses. Show us results.

I only made suggestions on how it might be done, and not to waste time messing with it if it's too much. Though, if you want to be a douche and assume I care whether my inventory stays or goes, please, be my guest. [IMG]

<sarcasm>here is what we do enable nukes and disable the white list then vote on weather or not to keep the map again after an hour :p </sarcasm>

in an ideal world we would jump straight to a new map on 1.6.

How about a full reset for a 1.6 update (Skip 1.5), but releasing the map?

The map is 11gb, so it's most likely not gonna be released no matter what we do. Also, we're not just gonna waste our hard work on 1.5 by skipping it.
