Below is a list containing all of the mods currently denied from addition to the Alice 1.4 Modpack. Followed by the modification name shall be the reason for denial. Compact Windmills - Denied by sk89q Xycraft - Denied By sk89q Soul Shards - Denied by Pathaleon Modular Powersuits - Denied by Pyrocomando
Soul Shards could cause a good amount of lag, since it can get out of hand really fast and then we would have dozen of entities running around. I wouldn't recommend it to add. I haven't seen config options to control that, but maybe it got introduced with the 1.5 version of Soul Shards? (or there might be other ways to handle that, but I don't think it's worth the effort)
With MineFactory Reloaded, you can move spawners, at the cost of a nether star and some gold and diamond. :3 HINT HINT
Can XYCraft be taken a look at again? Namely the Fabricators and Multitanks? They add function like more autocrafting options and liquid storage.
Yes! There is so much more in this mod now. Infact, I'd be fine if SK disabled the useless blocks that he considers to be ugly and just left the solid water
A bunch of us already discussed xycraft with sk in TS. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as disabling the blocks, because most of them are used in the recipes for most deco-blocks and "functional" blocks.
Oh there is. but it' might not be worth it, since there's no way for people to be happy about the blocks that are enabled. Because like me, people who most likely want to place/try most of the blocks.
It's better than having nothing at all. Perhaps this could be like Gregtech in the beginning of the server in that the mods/sk just need time grow a custom to XYCraft's textures then they can enable it?
better add ars magica to the list; hopefully this could be re-added when less buggy *fingers crossed, also train craft
I dont see why traincraft was removed, all it is , is a few gui's for railcraft as well as some textures ...?
It causes a lot of crashes if you have any of it's blocks in your vicinity, and just generally people weren't using it.
With GregTech SK could use the rather massive config file, and slowly enable things as he chose. It does not look like XYCraft has anything like the configuration options GregTech does (few mods do), so it would take a lot more work to disable or negate large sections of the mod.
