I see everyone is complaining about this problem on the server but I haven't seen someone posting about it on the forums so I decided to do so. In the farm, there are a lot of diamond chests so someone can just come by and get some ender pearls for free so why some lazy players replaced some of the diamond chests with ender chests so they can get free ender pearls directly to their base? At least if you want to do that, put the ender chest at the end of the line because it is a pain to c0me to the farm and wait for the ender pearl to get into the diamond chests because sometimes it doesn't get into it at all if the player was emptying the ender chest constantly, hope this problem get solved soon because it's annoying a lot of us.
I put all the enderchest at the end of the line. Everyone who did that is someone new. I'd love to talk to those individuals.
I don't know why we allow them at all. If you want ender pearls go to the farm and stand around for 20 minutes.
It seems somewhat likely that someone hooked up an ME Import bus with no level emitter to the green-green-green public EnderChest. I am guilty of setting one up myself, but I have a level emitter keeping a few stocked in my AE system and disabling it when it has enough. I think that the diamond chests should be given priority over the EnderChests, rather than them being banned completely, and perhaps get rid of the public frequency one so that we can isolate who it is that is stealing/eating all the pearls as it seems to be the public one that is the problem.
But how do we decide which enderchest comes first, since they would suck up all of them? I'd just destroy them if it wouldn't be for dem's nay. How about a locked one (to sk or dem or whoever, without them pulling the same dickmove ofc) that people just lock ender pouches to. That way they have to manually pull them out whenever they want a couple pearls - or go to the farm if they want to get them faster.
I say just remove all enderchests and leave a sign saying that they are forbidden there. I honestly don't know why dem's acting like she built the place. But just have it so people just have to go get enderpearls. But i might have been a bad influence >.<, since i was the first one to put an enderchest there.
Dem didn't say it as an order, she was just unsure about it and didn't want to be the bad guy. I, on the other hand ...
All I said is that we should at least talk to the poeple and let them remove the chests on their own. Shadow I am not acting as If I built the farm... I tried to protect this farm, since it's a common sense project. But I don't expect you to understand that.
tell people to bind pouches to the public green green green frequency and ban private enderchests. also, make the G-G-G chest private so people can bind pouches but not have other enderchests hooked up with autopulling crap
1. nope 2. only because we told people to do something, that doesn't mean, that they actually do it. I for myself (i think the other mods too) don't want to bother to check every person, if they bound it correctly or don't use autopulling from this chest. And if they didn't do that? warning and have one more timespending check? nah... Since the farm is very easy to come at, I personally think, we don't need enderchests at all there. But thats not my decision- only an opinion.
How about we just go back to the old way and ban farms in the end? Enderman farming is kind of an end game thing anyway. Why, back in my day...... we threw pearls to find the end portal, fought the dragon ourselves, with stone swords and no armor. We had to then fight those mean old endermen one by one. We'd go in groups and walk uphill both ways!! Through the snow!
We can't stop the farms. And banning people for building them is crushing creativity. If there isn't a public farm then everyone will build separate private farms and kill the spawn rate for everyone else. If you really want to walk up hill then petition for End resets every couple of weeks.
I was just sort of kidding. Just reminding people that this is a nicety, not a necessity. I don't understand why some people need so many enderpearls really.
