So I recently received my new web hosting with the domain of http://supaham.com and was wondering if there are any tips or tricks you know that I could benefit from. At the moment I'm working on my own WordPress theme so I got that covered but I don't know too much about everything else, so thanks in advance if you do help with anything.

    Congrats. :)

If you're using WordPress make sure you're constantly updating it and turn comments off. I have a help site for ArmA 2 scripting and had comments turned on. It was great being able to talk to people but I was getting 300-500 spam posts a day.

There's the reason why I didn't use WordPress. However, I knew how to write for the web, so I was able to write a blog site that had anti-spam, but of course I never used it. :)

Well, no. The thing is, if you don't have experience with analytics and spam relieve systems then nothing will really allow you to handle that load... Spam is a fairly complex issue. The simplest answer (CAPTCHA) is a really cheap and inconvenient way to handle it.

EDIT: I never published it and, sadly, I lost the files in a hard drive crashed.
