[Bug] Unable to craft efficiency due to ID mismatch.

    So I wanted to create some theta field expansion modules for chargepads, but it needs efficiency upgrades to craft. When i tried to craft them, i was unable to because of the RE-Battery ID needed.

    Which to my knowledge, is impossible to get. Even with the trick with discharging electric items to change the ID, doesn't work with batteries.

    Try crafting it in a regular crafting table. I have had problems like this with the project table.

    re-bats change id, when they are partially charged. at least on old alice... :rolleyes:

    I wouldn't have posted If i was able to craft them with the normal crafting table.

    But that trick has never worked on this alice.

    I'd rather not waste EU by charging them, and it's quite a ***** to autocraft them.

    You need to if you want to craft them, and it's 20,000EU -_- you can always charge and discharge them
    and it'll work. Plus, it can still be autocrafted, just need an extra step.

    Charging and discharging has never worked for RE-batteries.

    I did, and it does work. But i really don't think you should need to charge them first before using them in crafting.

    Well, that's your only option ;)

    And since there is a good workaround, I doubt this'll get fixed by SK. Most you can hope for is a mod update.

    That will only happen once in a blue moon, especially since pyro and path are MIA.

    Can't believe they'd signup for it then go inactive. Maybe someone to fill their positions, like an understudy?

    Yup, it's sad.

    They're definitely good people, but if they suddenly go MIA without warning , it's really shitty. I'd be glad to help, especially with the amount of free time I have, but i doubt that'll happen xD

    Just ask. I mean seriously, they can't just expect Joe to do it all and get frequent mod updates.

    I'll see, but it'll definitely tomorrow at the least, too tired. But yeah, to be quite honest, i wouldn't be surprised if joe would have stopped for a while, but whatever. Night.

    I volunteered to do testing of mod updates, sk sorta got back to me but I have not heard anything yet, all I need to know is how to set up a local clone server of alice to test, as single player alice does not work at all..

    They have their own system for this, Nolan. I'm pretty sure it's just SVN on a central server.
