    It can only be lowered from 256 in the server properties file. Anvil only supports up to 256, but there are some mods out there that do this.

    I thought that died... tbh, I'm not convinced there IS a height mod for our version. I haven't seen one since they first adjusted the height stuff back around 1.1...

    I did that once on another server. detonated two nukes in a vertical line to create a crater, then shaped it, and built the tower out of that.

    Not doing that twice. :C

    Nukes wouldn't work filler would be more effective and faster, or perhaps a quarry.

    Sure... if I wanted a square...

    The Nuke gave me a nice round crater, which wasn't particularly difficult to turn into a large hole in the ground that looked good. Reengineering a quarry/filler hole... :S

    Mining laser on explosion mode has never, for me anyways, broken more than 1 block. Like, in the history of ever. And TBH the crater from the nuke was only barely big enough for the tower. lol.

    But again it's not about speed. It's about the final result. And a crater from nukes looks significantly better, once properly shaped, and is easier to shape, than a big empty square.

    Dude, no arguing. It works, trust me. Nolan and I have had plenty of experience destroying land in the nether with it.
