As some of you probably guessed, we are planning a mining world reset. The reset is currently scheduled for sometime on March 12, 2013 (Pacific time, GMT -0800), which is around 7 days from today. Please retrieve anything that you would wish to save from the mining world before this date. This reset does not affect any other world.
What about resetting mining world automatically each month ? With a callback each time you enter the world, that it will have a reset each month, and that the next reset schedule is on the xx/xx/xx
No, that's annoying. The code is actually already there to delete the world periodically, because it's made for random adventure worlds (aka what Mystcraft does), but I disabled it for our use.
Yea, going on hiatus from the server and finding out that whatever valuable creations you made in the mining world are now all suddenly rendered moot from a monthly reset. Not a very pleasing picture.
It's the base of components for most AE machines. For those looking for a redo of their automations, yes.
I just looked into Applied Energistics. Yup. Screw RedPower. Screw golems too. I'm so going to replace my sorting system with that.
The way I do things in the mining world is to have all my frame bore tunnels coming out of one common hall. Makes it so you don't need to go far incase you have to break down your frames on short notice. Edit: When's the actual reset? I'd love to have some AE machines soon!

Fair enough, guess I'm just blind! Oh and I think, in the meantime you should sell the AE quartz at the spawn so we can start with some of those machines (it's the only worldgen in AE)
