Hey. I'm new to the server, but I've already noticed that nobody really has a good way to maintain protection borders, they just use blocks, or fence, or some other means. I think it would be really helpful if the Friends plugin was updated to have some sort of command that selects the area of your protection as your WorldEdit boundary, so people would be able to actually see where the borders are. My other suggestion would be to have some sort of Friend or Local chat, so you could talk to people next to you without talking to the whole server.
You can already do local chat wit doing /join [name of chat channel] , then all messages will only be in that channel. But if you end a message with / , it will be sent to the whole server.
Both feature already exists! To talk to only the person you want, without talking to the whole server, you just type in the chat: /join <any name you want> And tell your friend to join the same channel, this to talk together, privately. About the protection, I know there's a way, with a command, to actually select your protected areas, bu I've forgotten actually which command it is, check the wiki for it!
Thanks for the /join, that's really helpful. As for the claimed land thing, all I can find in the wiki is this:
The outline thing doesn't do non-contiguous regions (nor does WE), which is the problem at the moment.
Also keep in mind that with the /join and trailing / thing, emotes are still public. So in this little exchange: /join happytime hi friend! /me gets naked and slathers oil all over you hah jk! All the server will see is you slathering oil all over and not you saying just kidding.
