And Because of this, I got stuck in the Mining World. And I'm Sorta Afraid to go back and grab my stuff there.
It works for me, and you can always return to the main world by creating a nether portal in the mining world.
The problem is, if you have little space, like I did, The bug comes into place. It will NOT work in compact places.
beds themselves will not work in compact spaces, there needs to be 1 block clear on all sides of the bed, that is vanilla. On a side not I have heard of beds not setting the spawn point correctly at night, so sleep in your bed during the day (it will let you sleep in the bed briefly then kick you out) to make sure your spawn point is correctly set.
The same thing happened to me. Beds have worked all the time up until that occasion. Seemed to be a one time glitch.
