About 2 days ago I began to have the GUI bug. Every time I opened a GUI minecraft would crash. I tryed all the regular things, re-downloading... Then when i tried to load Alice it crash while it was loading. Whenever I force-updated it either stall halfway in or did not update. The crash screen says: Minecraft has crashed! ---------------------- Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Failed to start game A full error report has been saved to C:\Users\coby\AppData\Roaming\.skcraftalice\.minecraft\crash-reports\crash-2013-02-17_10.56.22-client.txt - Please include a copy of that file (Not this screen!) if you report this crash to anyone; without it, they will not be able to help fix the crash Then lists the crash details. Does anyone know how to fix this?
you need to POST the crash details. in fact, stick the whole thing in that .txt in a [spo.iler] and [/spoile.r] without the dots. just wanted to save you some effort.
Yes copy-paste the text in "C:\Users\coby\AppData\Roaming\.skcraftalice\.minecraft\crash-reports\crash-2013-02-17_10.56.22-client.txt" into a spoiler tag ["spoiler"]["/spoiler"] without the quotes
So you forced a download, ok, but did you delete the skcraftalice folder before? That might help too.
Thx for the sugestions. None of them worked but I did fix it. I used system restore to push my computer back 2 days before the problem. Now its A ok.
If you could find those error reports I would still greatly enjoy seeing them, for future prosperity so we know how to fix this issue without a system restore.
