I like how that pack looks as well, nice and clean and the ores are clear enough to see from a good distance and the glass is nice and easy to see through but i don't know if its just the pic or what but everything seems kinda fuzzy looking or like everything got sand blasted.
It wasn't the pic, the grass was SOOO blurry, but it has been redone since 1.3 and now grass is perfect, still smooth, but not blurry at all! BTW I think he voluntary blurs some textures to make em look smoother!
And even on this so old games, lighting effects are available, and a little of 3D too... This is really great to see how games aren't really changing through the times, they are getting way better in term of graphisms, but not evolving!
I don't see much of lighting effects, all I see is pixels, but still even though I don't know that game I'm sure its awesome...
Are you kidding, games are getting worse and worse as time goes on. The games are getting easier and easier and have less to them every time someone puts out a new game or things have been so simplified that any idiot can pick it up and be good at it. a perffict clear sign of this is the C&C series started by Westwood studios and later bought out by EA who I know most real gamers see the name EA and already know how bad it is. XD Thebest games out of the C&C set are Red Alert 1 and 2, Tiberium Sun was alright to but not as good as RA and Generals wich was EA's first C&C game was fun to play but RA3 was a HUGE downgrade and kinda lame and Tiberium Wars was about the same as generals in the TS story line but C&C 4 is just SHIT and has basicly become something more like Dawn of War downgraded. Over all you can just look at how hard it was to beat the old school Mario games and then pick up something like Mario for the N64 and then pick one up for the Wii, you can see them get easier and easier over the times. Another great series to look at would be the Elder scrolls, I started with Morrowind and that had ALLOT to it, didn't look that great but just had allot to the game it's self and then you play Skyrim and right away you can tell just how much better it looks but how simple the game is Char wise and inventory wise.
