yeah, thats why I said to divert the snowballs to make snow blocks, and have an automatic pumpkin farm >:)

also, what about something.... different.... maybe geothermal or automatic charcoal power? I mean, we can just automate a tree farm, and have charcoal produced automatically. seriously. that would be so overpowered... can we get the EUs out of the fuel cans by the way? if so then superfuel would be very, VERY useful for a quick burst of 144K EU. for just 1 coal, 8 leaves, some gunpowder and a peice of glowstone that is just alot of EU too. why does everyone just go "nuclear reactor. im boring and I just use this same setup all the time." ? we need a fun way of making power :D

fun is good, but more importantly we need high energy yield, no maintenace, low lag energy source. with the 2k eu/t suc reactors gone, we have to rethink our options. 144k eu per can sounds great, but its really only ~3.6 seconds of (old version) nuclear energy. Can you automatically produce a superfuel per 3.6 without creating too much lag? Geothermals are not an option unless you want to carry lapotrons through nether portals 24/7. 1 Charcoal = 8k eu = 0.2 seconds of nuclear energy, so you need 5 charcoal per second without creating more lag than the reactor would.

well, if we can get a coal every 3.6 seconds... and these last about 20 minutes or so. so one every 3.6 seconds is a bit. hmm, silly but then we can just distribute them and have poeple give the cans back OR have the pipe with them going to the house so the person can control how much is burnt by adding more/less generators.

adds the fun challenge of getting a generator still, so makes the game a bit more.... hard.

It looks similar to the callum's project, just check it, it worth it!
He just needs a LOT of help, but as everyone will profit of it, the help you gave will come back to you in fact ;)

wait- the nearly 2K setup doesnt work anymore? and if water doesnt dupe normally then we doomed... but then; if only water cools, how would it be possible to get a powerful stable reactor?!?

i personalty don't like reactors i have a tendency to blow them up but can ice not be added to remove heat instantly from the reactors?

we have thermal monitors on the server, so there is no excuse for blowing up your reactor. For the new version, the best mk1 setup without condensers i found has 140eu/t, depending on how bad the calculation inside lags the server, it may be equal to the 2k one (no snow generation or tubes necessary).

about callums project, you want to generate over 20k eu/t with watermills? im a fan of huge projects, and i had a 512eu/t watermill setup, and also helped drbrille build a 2k eu/t watermill setup but i dont think what you are planning is even possible due to hardware limitations.

New Vespucci will burn to the ground upon the very unholy ground that it harbors the nefarious MISTA MAN in.

yes, tiffy, we really gotta get rid of that dark node. im thinking massive ammounts of greatwood... :p

yes, 177, see the first 2 posts. we will most likely go for fusion power as its the most potent way of generating eu.

Finally this post have been reactivated! Sed you've been dead for a while. I made a little tempt base for tourist attraction later XD(I just hate living outside in teh open) Also, I accidentally got the quarry stuck up in teh air above 200....

Finally you decided to spell Area right lool

I personally think 2 chunks is a bit small for building, how about a 2x2? If you make the plots too small people wouldn't wanna stay in the city for a long time.

Wtf, we have a node problem? How come I never knew about it? :3

Is there any space for rail systems? If yes, I call the job of Rail-Building Director >:D

Sed you really should start claiming soon, or else we might bulldoze into someone's house.

oh yes, indeed. fortunately we already got a matterfab and several nukers. soon we will have a frame quarry in the mining world, too. soon, SOON I TELL YOU! *twitches*

    /edit:

my telephone + internet is gone due to isp fail and im online via umts/gprs so i cant really play. if you compare 2 chunks to the space youd usually get in spawn cities it isnt all that small. you can get promoted, too and get 6 chunks in uptown. space for rails = under the streets. that way they are grief proof. i will start claiming as soon as my isp decides to stop screwing up.

Also, are the walls really gonna be 1 chunk thick or are we gonna make it thinner then have bushes around it or something
