I wanna request that the charge-o-mat would be enabled, since the people in our group have quantum/grav now, so we it would be nice for charging it, and it has a nice AoE effect to charge any electrical equipment in your inventory.
Kira....I know you're trying to help. But I've already explained why I would prefer the charge-o-mat over the other things in game earlier today. But i have my reasons.
No, I think the charge-o-mat is a superior item. The charge pads charge equipped items only, a bit tedious.
Unless it's changed it looks to me like the charge pad is easier. To fill my drill, jetpack, armor and laptop I just stand on the pad drill in hand and swap to my lappack after a few seconds. Charge o Mat seems to require me to remove the drill, put it in the GUI, then pick it back up from the other part of the GUI, then also swap to my lappack? Maybe it's faster charging for GregTech stuff? No quantum here yet so, no idea. What are the advantages of the Charge-O-Mat?
People only think something is easier when they have used it. The charge-o-mat is better in a few respects. It has more slots then a normal ic2 energy storage device (like a charging bench). It is fast charging most stuff. It has armor slots so you don't have to take your armor off to charge it. It also has an AoE effect for charging your armor, around the actual block itself. BLASPHEMY!?!?!?!
