Thoughout the server thaumcraft has caused mayhem with the people of Alice. Lots of people have released flux into the atmosphere and there a number of very seriously corrupted aura nodes which if left unchecked could result in black zones were no-one can go because of mass numbers of wisps. I know of a few such areas and I have successfully contained three aura nodes so far but I need help:

Anyone who finds an area with roughly 5 wisps in 300 blocks of each other should post the rough coordinates which will be subsequently looked at.

Anyone who is willing to help and has goggles of revealing should look at the coordinates and try to find the aura node.

The standard system for containing an aura node is as follows:

If you find the aura node you should block it off (with cobblestone) leaving a 1x1x1 area for the wisps to spawn safely, you leave a sign on one of the blocks saying

    WARNING!!!
    corrupted
    Aura node
    WARNING!!!

If you see this sign you must not break the cobblestone around the aura node. Thank you for your help

so by leaving a spawning space this will prevent them from spawning? I didn't know that was possible.

heads up, if the flux level gets too high, then your cobble walls won't work unless u contain the entire chunk... also, some high density wisp locations are fine, such as my base, as the wisps near my base are non aggressive and thus I WANT MOAR! :3

Anyways, there are only two types of wisps that are aggressive; malum and mortum, they are purple and red but i don't know which one is which, but all others are passive unless provoked by being attacked

and I think they drop essentia, or dont they drop anything?

but yeah, caging in the chunk is awsome; but is the height still limited so they dont spawn at the top of the map?

Wisps drop wispy essences, Wisps only spawn at the exact sport of the aura node, this is why a one block hole is left for them to spawn in. All wisps are aggressive if provoked and they work like pigmen as others will aggro on you even if you haven't attacked them; they can also attack people who haven't attacked them because when they are attacked they aggro on all humans. How their aggressiveness works is confusing and it's best to restrict their movement than have them wandering freely and attacking innocent people.
