    Since quantum invincibility is disabled along with most of the quantum suit features, I thought it would be a good idea to suggest this mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1528282-146145142132sspsmp-enchanting-plus-v1121111110

    It's a simple mod that allows you to enchant modded armor and tools/weapons as well as repair items with XP and you can actually choose what enchantments you can put on a piece of armor and what not and not actually need the bookshelves.

    Eh, I don't know how I feel about knowing the enchantment. That's sorta cheating.

    I agree, I think that's the only bad thing is losing the randomness of what you'll get.

    This was considered on Vincent 1.4.x (but not this particular mod), but I decided against it because, as mentioned, the fun is with the randomness.

    Soul Shards is an alternative that would make enchanting more accessible, but still random and chancy. :)
