    Alice should be up by the end of today (in Pacific Standard Time, or GMT -0800). It is currently 1:00 PM as of writing.

    Spawn is being fleshed out and some bugs are being worked out. Sorry that we didn't invite many people to build spawn this time because everything's a bit rushed.

    Attached are the current and latest GregTech settings. Please note that most settings are up to consideration to be changed, so please suggest changes (if you are familiar with GregTech) before we go live.

    Welll....
    About config, i think LESU is pretty funy so i dont know why it's disabled ^^
    Playerdetector whould also be usefull

    All other looks balanced :) So i can live with that, that you cutted many UUM recepts ^^

    You really should enable more of the Quantum options...
    Why is SO much stuff disabled anyways? It's not like Gregtech items are easy to get...
    GT is mostly endgame items anyways!

    You should consider enabling more things at least on a trial basis. If you see them become abused, OP, or get player complaints about them, just disable them again.
    You wouldn't have to push a client update for every config change as far as I know.

    Edit: Is there any word on Mystcraft and GravSuit? Like I've said before, you can limit and disable age generation in Mystcraft so it's not abused of resource heavy! And GravSuit is endgame, so you can't really say its OP, lol

    SK, I've used Gregtech multiple times (mostly with the FTB Modpack).
    Please believe me when I say most of the items are pretty hard to get unless you're at endgame.

    I'm not sure how up to date it is, but it shows most of the recipes and their corresponding config options.

    I'm also not exactly sure what you mean by specific config options. You mean for enabling and disabling specific aspects?

    It's not that the items are too easy, but that some are too hard (that's what a lot of the tweaks are). There needs to be a distinction between a more casual player and a hardcore player. The beginner stuff needs to be easy, and the hard stuff needs to be hard. The mod pack is also quite large (almost 100 mods) and so there are other ways to accomplish things.

    To be honest, GregTech is one tiny thing to me when there's a bunch of other more important things on the to-do list (like chunk claiming...), and so unless you make a point to write the name of the configuration options to re-consider, whether I go over GregTech again is dependent on whether I have the time to. If you don't mention an issue, there's no guarantee I will look at it.

    Ah I think I understand now. Sorry!

    Beginners can look up wikis, youtube videos, ask others for advice and help, and check NEI for recipes. This would make it so expert players don't have to be limited to what seems simple enough for a beginner to figure out on his own.

    It seems like I might still be misunderstanding you though >_>
    Are you looking to disable some of the recipe tweaks and not disable some of the advanced machines?
    If this is the case I'm pretty sure you can just disable all of the "B:ExpensiveBLAH" options.

    I don't think any of the other options have to do with the difficulty tweaks.

    Thermal Generator is an UPGRADE of the Geothermal Generator, not a replacement.

    I:UpgradeStacksize=4 to something higher than 4.

    Not much higher if you want, but particularly for energy storage upgrades a stack size of 4 is crap.

    Keeping in line with enabling a light helmet. :|

    The dynamic light, besides being glitchy when I tested it, is completely broken due to the presence of OptiFine.

    Edit: I also copy-pasted the wrong thing for the quantumsuit section anyways, so I fixed that too.
