It's finally here! Thanks to some hard work by famerdave and myself, the modded server has finally launched. Note that we still run Minecraft 1.0. Early access signups are no longer accepted. We will be switching to public (public for current members of SKCraft) in the coming days. Everything is ready, besides a ban and whitelist sync. We currently run the following mods: BuildCraft 2.x IndustrialCraft 2.x RedPower 2.x Forestry 1.2.x To connect: Download the client mod pack Connect to: 204.27.63.206:25565 or alice.sk89q.com (it may take up to 48 hours for your DNS to populate the changes) Please note that Alice is a survival server upon public launch. Creative options may be introduced later.
Gordoa40 - I want to join because I love the mods included and I think I could help test and I want this server to become big because if it did, it would be seriously awesome...pipes going everywhere and such...xD well I hope I can join! I would love to be part of the early access team! I enjoy building and take direction well. I am familiar with bukkit plugins, and some of these mods. I'm not sure what would qualify me here so I will just say I'm freaking awesome... you cannot argue with my logic. MRVERTIGO27 spitfire25565

I would love to be part of the early access team, but I won't have access to a computer until February, so this might be redundant if you grant full access to everyone before then. EDIT: Didn't read full post due to being on a mobile device. Here is why I would like to join early: I have recently discovered these mods, and through watching a ton of related videos, experimenting myself and thinking up ideas, I believe I could be put to good use with early server projects.
I would like a go at playing with this server. I had a selection of these mods for my client a while back but non of the modded servers I tried were any good, would love to see what out community can come up with, and be a part of it.
Everyone who has posted above has been given access to the server! Please, help build spawn, and a few home near spawn. DO NOT, DO NOT, Go build giant Buildcraft/IC2 things. Leave it like a normal survival server. (Besides a "few" things)

I would like to join because I used these mods in the past and they where really fun, but I always wished they would be on a server, and now they are! But I was just wondering if while you are in creative if you could toggle back to survival?
I'm very much interested in being granted early access to this server. I've had some experience with these mods, and have been looking forward to the server for some time. By requesting that users not build grand things off the bat, I'm assuming the finalized server isn't planned to be Creative. Why have it active now? If the map isn't intended to be wiped once the server is open, it'd be fantastic if users were allowed to play in survival (toggled by a command, perhaps, a la James). I would still be very much happy playing in Creative, though! Additionally, Pyrocomando will likely be seeking access. He's a fantastic player and is very adept with BuildCraft, RedPower, IndustrialCraft, and Forestry.
THE POINT OF THIS EARLY ACCESS MODE IS TO BUILD SPAWN, and START THE TOWN. Once we RELEASE, EVERYONE WILL LOSE CREATIVE. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HELP WITH THIS STUFF, THEN DON'T APPLY. DELETE YOUR POST IF YOU DON'T WANT EARLY ACCESS.

Iwould love to start a new community, as Vincent has exploded in size since the early days of 1.0. Also, even though I joined Summerhold pretty much the day after SK put Vincent back on for 1.0, I think it would be fun to build some public areas for Alice! EDIT: I'm pretty sure alex would like to help too. He's pretty boss on creative!
