We need to discuss what mods we will be using for 1.4.6. Please provide any comments on any of the mods that you want on the new server, or not on the new server. We need to get rid of all the "maybe" entries and convert them into definite yays or nays. I doubt anyone will want both Thaumcraft and EE3, those mods paired together are infamous for basically generating free stuff. Also, I would appreciate if you could offer some links, I'm not familiar with some of those other mods.
Well as of me writing this, in EE3 there is barely anything implemented from what I can see playing it in SSP so is there much point in installing EE3 yet? Also if the mod did have more added to it, you could just block the usage of mass production items so you can use the other more practical, less "cheaty" parts of the mod such as the flying ring and the DM tools. I think that ExtraBiomesXL is would make a very good addition to the server to enhance the terrain a little more and add whole new ideas for building on the server. The only problem with this mod is the preformance factor as it is very resource heavy and may put lots of stress on the server and people's less powerful computers. As for the other mods I haven't really used many of them, apart from the obvious main mods on the server such as IC2 and Buildcraft. And I just noticed that Forestry is not listed above; will Forestry be installed as it is at the moment or not? Anyway this is just my opinion on what I think is best
ComputerCraft, Furniture Mod, ExtraBiomesXL, and maybe Thaumcraft, I think you want to keep it an industrial server so not sure ThaumCraft would fit in. Those mods, I'm sure are the ones the players would like. Edit: if the farming one adds a bunch of trees/foods I don't think it is really any good.
I don't really mind Thaumcraft being on because it provides an outlet for people who simply don't enjoy the industrial bits that much. One nice thing about Thaumcraft is that it doesn't really work with the industrial mods so you can't combine the two (that much) -- they use entirely different lines of research and development.
On the topic of Forestry, I admit that I do not want it. Thaumcraft can kind of replace portions of Forestry with its clay men.
I personal would like to have Forestry because of the bees and tree farms and stuff and also no EE ever

To get rid off it: Aditional pipes for BC couse teleportation pipes makes building machines too easy ^^ Wireless redstone - couse it makes building advanced redpower consructions too easy ^^ Personaly i hate EE3 and Thaumcraft [my personal opinion ^^] To use: Steve's carts for 1.4+ are grate ^^ Definitly BC3 [at least machines like, builder, tempalte archive etc.] - couse it givves gates to pipes to controll exploding engines Forestry with plugins + [I love bees ^^] IC2 : Adv. machines + Yes couse adv.machines are the best way to get away too much power specialy when new rp2 present blueelectricity engine Some Energy transforming mode, not necessarly power converters couse there are many other like it I'm sad couse i loved painball ^^ it's one of the best ways of hounting mobs So thats my opinion about what we should nas shouldn't have on 1.4.6 ^^
@Luniak The only thing I agree with you to remove is Additional pipes, since we have railcraft we can transport everything with carts. Redpower it self makes advanced redstone builds too easy, adding wireless redstone will only save the extra trouble a player might get here and there

If Greg's Lighting mod is the one that adds "sunlight" blocks then there is one that comes with Factorization (If it was to be added) I think, called Wrath Lamps
It adds paintball guns and other paint weapons which are quite nice for defending against mobs and add other fun things for PVP. I was going to build a whole factory that manufactured paintball weapons, and an arena too...
I think that a couple of the mods that would be cool is the Portal Gun Mod And GraviSuit. And we definitely need to bring back IC2, Redpower, And BuildCraft For sure.
