So you're telling me that every coders of the WorldEdit are too lazy to port ?
It's up to them to let their plugin to die on their own server....

To be fair there may not be enough interest in doing a Forge port. The upcoming Minecraft API would have a higher priority as it will replace Force (in theory, at least).

Ok, so here we have what we can call as a:
    Alice fanatic:
He loves Alice so much then he doesn't care about the "vanilla" minecraft client, it has no sense for he.... He only knows of the Alice client!
It's good people get such interest to the server, it proves a sort of fidelity!

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure Wiz was the maintainer worldedit and worldguard for a while, so if he didn't see the worth in doing a port. I think that would probably be why.

Yes, Wizjany IS still the maintainer:

This is taken from the official bukkit page, there you see that zml is also a maintainer; who's bored enough to spend time to try to talk to them ? Yes, I used the word "try"...

Forge isn't vanilla. WorldEdit has been available for vanilla Minecraft possibly longer than most people have played Minecraft.

Bukkit is still massively larger than Forge in popularity, as servers go.

This is how it will likely play out eventually:
    1. Minecraft's API will exist.
    2. Bukkit will either stick around, start declining, or die completely, but may support the MC API.
    3. Forge will continue to exist, but may support the MC API.
WorldEdit and their friends have not been ported because it's still a massive amount of work. Forge hasn't been good enough to compare with Bukkit in terms of supporting what we need, and as you can see, once the MC API comes out, the Forge port may not even be needed (although we are not betting on this).

Someone is already working on porting WE and WG officially anyway.

    Didn't you call him lazy89q before ?
Well at least I remember when most of the people said that, and since there, I know sk is not a reference when he says he is lazy!

I'm pretty sure I started calling him lazy89q after like a few weeks after the 1.2.5 reset, but yeah it's not just said for fun since he's admitted it :p
