What to you think about Determinism versus Free will? Do we act on our own Free will ? or every action that we take is already predetermined somewhere? Tell me what you think
We all work with the same bio-chemical structures. There is no evidence of foreign intervention, so scientifically it is more plausible (say: so it's true) that it is defined by humans from earth (which all underlie these structures).
I actually didn't really like Orwell's writing. A full explanation of the book's message in the middle of the book defeats the purpose of any commentary.
Je hais quand les gens parlent français sans en être un... Anyway, my advice is that we make our acts our way, so we think about that, there's still an opinion, this all means that it can't be determined, or we would see our life like trapped in a body. The only fact I wrote this message means I want it, for me it is a proof, and this means I am not directed... By the way, telling you are not predefined is a sort of "proof" the big bang can't exist, nor the time, cause if time exists, our future is predefined, and I don't think I'm predefined, also the big bang made planets like that and every atoms in their actual position because of specific parameters, so if we emulate those, we should re create everything up to the actual point, and even the future, so if big bangs exists the way it is told, we are predefined. Another solution would be to admit we can't exist under any form, but as I am writing this message because of my thoughts, I believe I exist, at least me, and maybe others, but I can't proof I am alive, so I am maybe like somewhere else, and everything could be false. I still leave like if everything were true, only tis way you could have fun of something, even a wrong thing.
I uh... I think that we are under the illusion of free will (even my typing of this is an illusion of free will). Due to the parallel universe theory, I believe that everything is predetermined at the start of that universe. So my typing this included. Everything that we "have a choice in" is an illusion. Because the universe will always choose for us. Even our thoughts.
Parallel universes can't exist since we can calculate the entropy of an Universe: The entropy explains how predicable are things, and if there are parrallel universes, then the entropy is different on every universe (or could be) then there should be one with a really high entropy that would make an event to, for exemple, cast a fireball in another universe, but as the other universe (for exemple our universe) have a different entropy so it shouldn't happen... So if we weren't able to calculate precisely the entropy, it would be up to people to choose wich theory is wrong, but we've never proved any parrallel universe, but we have proved (and calculated) the entropy... If someone has any remark that can prove I'm wrong, please do, but stay objective
Each paralel universe may have the same or different entropy. It depends. But ofc we can't prove it. Also, some parallel universes have to parallel universe, because, since everything is possible, even paradoxes are.
And here's the problem back: EVERYTHING can't be possible, only many possibilities, because of entropy, wich is mesurable! My mind looped a bit to accept that all too, it's completely different than all of what you though before!
Wow, TIL, that everyone is so smart. Or at least try to sound smart. Nothing is certain, everything is permitted.
After pondering about this when I was much younger, I decided that: I cannot prove it either way, and never will be able to. The actual truth does not affect my decision making process. Whether I know that there is free will or not, I am still going to decide to do things anyway. Therefore, I agree with Madness. It doesn't really matter and isn't even worth thinking about.
You are neither able to proof it is impossible! Agnosticism, read the debate about religion, you'll see my point of view about things!
