    The servers will be down temporarily until the cause of the recent crashes is discovered. Thank you for your patience.

    The recurring lag was brutal, and was very frustrating. It's better to get it fixed, even if that takes downtime.

    I second that. Also, getting booted out of the game every odd minute wasn't very fun ...
