IMO, it would be nice to have something like that, but personally I like the feeling of completing large non-compact frame door >.>
thats that expensive? its alot of diamonds for the board... then more for the other stuff, it costs like 4 diamonds to make your first motor I think I agree with madness below, and I just worked out a way to make a piston door more than 3x3 blocks, and that leaving the middle

Still not compact enough. Frame doors would conflict with things above and below the door. This dose not.
2 frame motors, like 5 or so frame, wire + logic gates +covers = compact frame door I've done it, its east. Ask path who did the thing where his stream player is on alice >.>

frame doors cant be locked easily with no protection, so you can just knock out a block and place a torch to activate/invert a timer so it will trigger all the counters :3
because im forming up ideas to use when map resets, and when I relog dont lose my boat... I hate how when I log out for a while my boat comes from under me and therefore I keep dying in the middle o nowhere ive done it like 15 times now, so im pretty stupid not to learn that a boats physics insnt frozen and squid are evil...

Wow, when i saw that a new person had posted here I was like "Oh its either going to be compactsolars or EE" AND WHAT A SURPRISE, I WAS RIGHT. No. Even though we all love CS, sk has stated sooooo much, that it will never be on the server again, even thou IMO it would cause A LOT less lag then people coming up with laggy solutions for plentiful EU. But frankly, i'd love sk to give it one more try on maybe something like a "temporary server", but meh.
