I love the building aspect of minecraft and creating builds with the many blocks the game offeres. Some are sadly not possible to obtain from survial mode and I noticed some of those are implemented already. I really love that feature. What I wish to request in this thread are some other blocks I personally would love see implemented aswell. - Mushroomstem. If using silk touch on it you will get the beige,brown mushroomtype instead of the whitecolored stem. It is a very nice alternative to other light/white blocks. - Cracked stonebricks. - Mossy stonebricks. Other blocks I would like to see, but personally for me isnt as important - Sponge. I personally use it for shaping water, for example for fountains. - Cobweb - 1/7 snowblock Another thing that would be nice is enderportal frames. A part of the game is, yes, to explore and in time get to the end. But making it a expensive item to get it would be a nice option for players to have the portal at their own base in time If you wish to implement these items aswell, the simplest way I can think of is adminshops
You're new so i'll put this in simple terms. You can already get them on vanilla from what i've tried. Find a stronghold on vincent. Or on alice put normal stone bricks in the middle of water and lava, it'll turn into cracked brick eventually. (not 100% sure if its right Find a stronghold on vincent. Or on alice put bricks beside water under shade (not direct sunlight or artificial light) and it'll turn into mossy brick eventually. Smelt sandstone on both servers to get sponge. I'm pretty sure there's a way to get cobwebs on vincent but i can't remember it. Just search the wiki and your bound to find it. Why would you have any use for these anyway? its useless.
I remember of a bug with minecraft that makes you to change the damage value of a block, so you could turn a normal wool into anything, I remember you need sticky pistons and water (and redstone obviously) but I don't remember what to do ...
Thanks for replies so quickly. I actually were searching thru the wiki for Vincent, but I could not find a way to get these items/blocks anywhere. The reason I made a request is that it doesnt, from my perspective, affect the survival gameplay at all besides that the blocks helps adding details to builds. Getting to the end is a late part of the game for me personally. Some quickly find a portal and go there, others spend their time on finding one later on. If possible to get the mushroomstalk, can you please explain how? I have tried ingame + searched forumtopics in different places for a way to get them legit without having to spawn them in. As for the other blocks it was simply suggestions for blocks that could be implemented one way or the other to the game. I get you are not for this suggestion and thats fine. But the reaons you give for not considering adding the items doesnt make sense. What may seem "useless" to you, other people love to add to their builds. From reading the wiki, I understand Sk want nice looking buildings on the servers. I've played on servers that offeres these items from admin shops before and I cant see the negative sides. It really just gives players a way to add details to their builds, so I dont see the reason to just shut this suggestion down. Yes I am new to your server, and even after reading the wiki a couple of times I may overlook something. But Im not new to minecraft or minecraft servers at all, so I've seen similar features to this and the players love it.
Silk touch on large mushrooms, i've done it on another vanilla survival server. HOW could you use "1/7th snowblock"?, you could get it via logblock but its not on the server anymore. I do get what your saying astri, about how it gives players some ability to add details to their builds but apart from everything else, i don't see any way that 1/7 snowblocks would be useful. show me the exact video and i will prove to you it was patched.
Silktouch doesnt give the stalk itself, it will give the more beige, brown with small squares on it. Just try and you'll see what I mean. =) I sometimes like to add the snow on top of items, such as furnace or similar to make it look a little different. I aslo put "not as important" before listing them. I suggested it mostly to add options for the players to chose from, blockwise.
