If you use the newer launcher, the Vincent profile now installs a Vincent modpack with a minimap and other useful mods.
I think those mods are the same than on Alice, except mods that adds blocks/items/everything that should need a server modification.

Well, I can't exactly do that, you see, I've been having problems with connecting to Minecraft.net. the Login Servers are down for me, and so I can't update.....
Well the thing that really troubles me is that they've been down for several weeks over here, yet it seems nobody else has this problem...
Have you tried to delete your ".minecraft" and ".skcraftvincent" folders in In your appdata folder ? .minecraft contains the options of the launcher, including something that tells the game to be installed or not, so clearing it will force an update, and .skcraftvincent contains the new Vincent mod pack, but that's for the case of a conflict, it is preferable to delete it, this way there can't be errors. And about your bug with the minecraft login servers, try to restart your box that provides your internet, also open a command prompt if your computer is on windows and type "ipconfig /flushdns" but I don't think this second point could help, try it anyway.
CJ Are you sure you're selecting the [typed]Vincent[/typed] Profile rather than the [typed]Default[/typed] One? Code: [tip]Tip[/tip] [warning]Warning[/warning] [Typed]Typed[/typed] [tip]Tip[/tip] [warning]Warning[/warning] [Typed]Typed[/typed]
TMI or NEI would be a nice addition to Vincent's client mod list. My memory is shot, so even simple vanilla recipes need a lookup .
