I'd like to build what I'd like to call a volcano forge. It'd be a giant mountain that is far away from spawn, reachable by water, on an island of some sort, that is covered in lava with infinitely burning forges inside. The idea is that you can use the forge without having to pay coal to refine, but that by doing so you risk losing your items because of all the nearby lava. Simo pointed out this neat project, called an automated mountain builder. I think this would be useful, then we'd just have to bore out the inside of the mountain and dump lava in and down the sides, with some minor tweaks to make it look realistic (Obsidian, redstone, netherrack, and the like) Here is the video Simo showed me: Let me know if you're interested in getting involved in the project. - Drew
