apparently my player.dat is corrupted at the moment causing crashing, can someone let me know when its safe for me to log back in also is my inventory safe ? ill stay off until then thanks. -fx-
When you start up the client before you log in click more options and enable the console, start up and try to log in, when you crash copy the console, put it on pastebin and paste the link here, it will help as it may not be player file corruption. I had an issue with an un named object that I accidentally held in my hand, causing me to crash on login, I fixed this by mashing another inventory slot key as fast as I could while logging in and then used my mouse to get rid of the offending object.
the server is crashing due to a fatal error caused by my player.dat i was told not to log on by an admin, i posted this so i could be informed when i was safe to log in i am not going to be selfish and log in crashing the server and making everyone else miss out.
It's not caused by a player.dat problem but a problem with a chunk, but I think it is fixed now. If the server stops responding when you join, you know what I didn't fix it.
