I don't get why every forum has an off-topic section. There should be a forum completely dedicated to off-topic-ness, and every forum's off topic section links to the respective section on off-topic.com (For example, the off-topic link on skcraft.com/forums would go to off-topic.com/forums/skcraft and the raspberrypi.org off-topic forum would go to off-topic.com/forums/raspberrypi). All off-topic-ness would be in one place for easy viewing.

that is one of the worst ideas ever.
Why have an off topic section on a completely different website when you can have it on your own website with no problems.. and the off-topic.com website, would the administrators on that just go around all the newly made websites in the world and tell the website administrators to put their off topic section onto the off-topic.com. and, since you suggest every website, that has forums, to have their off topic section on the off-topic.com the list of threats would be endless, because of the countless number of forums sites that have off topic threats. dumb idea. I don't like it.

sorry if there are any typos :

It wasn't planned to be the best idea in the world. Just thought of it while on a forum, and was like, "why does every forum have a off-topic" section? and then i thought it would be cool if there was one big off-topic forum... Oh well, back to the drawing boards for the next facebook. :p

@SK: After rethinking the idea, I guess it's not such a good idea. With one big off-topic forum, you don't know the community. With a forum like skcraft, you're probably going to be talking to some more computer-oriented people, who will post different threads and comment in different ways. On a forum about cats or something, this will not be true. Oh well, just an idea.
