Maybe for people like me or just everyone who is whitelisted the chat could be hosted on an IRC or an IRC server that could interact with the server (Example:ForgeCraft in one of the vids Soaryn is in another place cant get on the server but uses IRC and TeamSpeak.) But maybe so people dont commit fraud when u whitelist u need to set an IRC password and people who are already whitelisted get notified to set an IRC password. I don't think I fully understand what you mean but is it to have an IRC channel for SKCraft and possibly add a link between the channel and the chat in Minecraft? If so, as far as I know there is a #skcraft channel already so you can check that out if you want. Furthermore on IRC in Minecraft, if that's what you want, it's not yet known to me whether or not such mod will be added. I'll update you on it if I know more about it.
Okay, so far I do not know the state of discussing on it though I remember it being discussed a bit on the mpt chat. This means it has been noticed but no definite answer is known yet. I have to wait for some others to come online and discuss what we'll do. I don't know if I'd like to link an IRC to the chat as the chat can already become pretty flooded when the new version gets out and everyone who is taking breaks now will come back. Adding the link between IRC and the chat would fill it up even more. I don't know though if this IRC can be another chat you can enter or if it just displays in the current chat so that's something I'll have to look up. You're suggestion will be looked into. Ok thanks it would be useful for people like me saving up money for a new computer or just can't play MC yet and still interact with the community. Or maybe there could be a way so there are separate chats that people can choose?
Don't want people who can't access the server yet to be left out so we'll do our best to help I don't know if separate chats are possible but we'll look into it.
If it's possible, you could also add a chat window on the forum? There are alot of forums who have such. Having that connected to the server, however, could potential create alot of chatspam.
What IRC Server is it on? I found my Nintendo DSi and I found an IRC client homebrew. Edit:Found it never mind.
