    Hey I was wondering if there was a way to intigrate an irc server so we could use smart phones to chat with people.

    While I do think that this is a dumb idea. I would LOVE the idea of having an irc room to hang out in when not on the server.

    Or, using a plugin, an IRC room linked to the minecraft chat, but still an IRC room so people could use it to talk, and also talking with those in game!

    I know IRCBot which is the most known plugin to handle that.
    And I'm not sure but I think it handles IP to auto detect the nickname of the one that talks (as dynmap does).
