Large Build Grand Central Station

Grand Central has been almost fully completed on Welwyn, but it is likely that it will be moved to Summerhold.

It supports 30 button selectable destinations (or lines) on 2 platforms and is fully automatic once you get in the cart. To view Prototype, follow signposting from Welwyn Marketplace Portal in the Nether.

We have almost all of the materials needed to complete the station (bar some redstone, glowstone and rails for building the lines), but there is one major problem; It consumes an area approximately 90 x 90 blocks on the surface. It does not require all this space, as it is only really that wide in certain places (on average maybe 30/40 blocks wide).

Therefore, we need a location for this station to be placed. Summerhold Spawn would be a convenient location, however there doesn't seem to be an area large enough to build (unless an artificial island was created with WorldEdit).
One option would be to have a minor station in Summerhold Spawn that leads to Grand Central, but it would not be central to anything.

If you have any ideas for the placement of Grand Central, please make them known.

The station is pretty much finished, but we still need heaps of glowstone, redstone and rails.
Once we decide the destinations and the station is in place, then we will certainly need help laying all the track!

 

Easy, Minor Station under Spawn that leads to Grand Central elsewhere

 

I think I have found a suitable location for Grand Central near the town of Stonegate. Coords are (300,?,-400) which is not too far from Summerhold Spawn, but still not really within walking distance.

The area is quite hilly in some areas and terraforming may be need before Grand Central is moved there.

EDIT: DerpEgg has terraformed a bit to make the area flat, but still natural-ish looking. Grand Central now needs to be moved to this new location, preferably with the front facing the town of Stonegate.
