I'm not sure where to put this, so its going in projects. I am willing to make custom forum signatures for anyone who wants them, there isnt much more too it than that. Ill make most signatures in exchange for a small amount of basic materials, like 32 copper or 24 iron. Here are some examples of some signatures Ive done in the past; they are for another server so just ignore what the text says(their just examples after all) The signatures were from a rp server, I prefer to do signatures in the style of the 1st and 3rd ones but Ill happily do any type of signatures you want

What kind of thing do you want, a good starting point is the mod you use most, thaumcraft, gregtech, build craft, rail craft, computer craft etc
I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to have large images as your signature. If it's not, it's very frowned upon.
There not normally large, the ossus one is the size I try to keep to, my current one is longer than I'd like but I'm going to keep it if no-one minds too much. The dreghorn barracks one is far to big but that's because I set the wrong resolution when I uploaded it
I'm probably going to make it a better size, it's no longer than your signature though so it's not that big of an issue
The size is not the issue. The issue is having a medium to semi-large picture under your name, it gets very annoying if you make a lot of posts with a picture in your signature that no one really wants to look at.
Aww but it's pretty. I see your point though, I'll try and make designs blend in better, I really like my current one though. I'll see if sk minds.
I think shad means this: A black box everytime you make a post can get really annoying after a bit. And, I don't think SK will mind as much as other forum members who have to see that. I'm sure it's considered nice on whatever forum you came from but here (black on white), it's but-ugly. At least change the bg color to be more subtle (like white).
Black backgrounds always make things look cooler, but they also stand out more as a result, It's great for design folios but it's not nessisarily good in a forum context. Like I said, I'll make the designs blend better, I'm not sure what to do about my signature. I'll have to think about it and ask sk what is appropriate, since he is the server owner
IMO you need to: Find some better fonts. The best way to know whether a font is good is to start browsing paid font sites... you'll start to notice how some fonts look way better (hopefully, at least if you have an artistic eye for this). Use space more effectively. Your signatures have a lot of unused, blank area. Find a focus. Right now your signatures are mostly a bunch of things tossed around on the image. See if you can set it up so a person's eyes naturally focus on one area. I used to make forum signatures myself. Here's what I am talking about: Though I find them too large for this forum.
Thanks for the tips, I'll try and improve my designs. I think I'll take my signature down for now and make a new smaller and better one.
