Hi Modpackteam, I want to ask whether you can make FlatBedrock on the server. it generates Bedrock only on the lowest layer and not on the second or third layer. Perhaps at the next Miningworld reset? So the quarrys can run to the realy lowest layer, which makes it more efficient. I hope that is possible.
Unfortunately there is no way to have a mod generate terrain specifically for one world; Especially since the mining world is added with plugin, it doesn't play nicely with forge mods. So I can definitely say we won't be seeing it for 1.5. For 1.6? I can't say; If I had to guess, I would say no. Simply because while it just gives quarries an extra what.... 196 blocks to mine if the quarry is max size? there is not much it does otherwise.
My quarries are constantly filled with water. Plus I frequently drop things in by accident due to how broken blocks fling their drops in random directions. I can't see a thing down there and having the bumpy bedrock just makes matters worse. I think the flat bedrock would probably remove some occasional inconveniences like this. But it doesn't really make much of a difference for quarry efficiency.
I have to completely agree with Neon on this one... Definitely not going to see this in 1.5, and probably won't in 1.6. There just isn't a valid reason why this plugin should be installed. Denied.
