I'm having an issue launching the game (Alice). When I launch it, it closes and there is no result. I enabled "Show Messages, and Errors" and got this:

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
    Invalid initial heap size: -Xms10112M
The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size.
    Process ended with code 1
Minecraft is no longer running! Click 'Close Window' to close this window.
Did you know: In 'Options', under 'Environment', you can disable this window from appearing.

From what i can tell it has to do with my Ram or Video Memory. Ive tried increasing the values of Java's initial memory and maximum memory from the launcher by going (Options - Environment - Java). I've changed these values from extremely high to extremely low and in the middle.
Any help would be appreciated, Thankyou.

    p.s.
    I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 2GB OC
    8GB Ram in two sticks.
    (Just in case)

Java tries to grab 10 GB of memory but you only have 8. Of course that's impossible. You should set the minimum (initial) heap size to 250 MB and the maximum to 500, that's enough for SKCraft. If you still have problems then set the max size to 1 GB. The minimum size should always be 250 MB though, if the maximum is high enough then java will take more as needed. Don't use more than 1 GB, it will slow your PC down.

Welcome to Alice. 1GB+ is generally recommended

What people generally recommend isn't always right. :p I use min 256 MB and max 1024. Never had a single memory problem. It's faster as well because java's garbage collector (which deletes unused data from memory) will be more active if the heap size is low.

I just tried setting it to 2GB and played SSP, and I noticed chunks were loading slower than usual and I had about 10 fps less. Could care less about the fps because I usually have 90+ and my ISP monitor is only 60Hz, but that's probably different for others.

Alice runs with as low as a 384mb maximum. I have tried it!

I don't wanna push it to the limit, there should be some leeway left... also, I need more because my internet likes to act up lately, so I play singleplayer... and I'm not content with only 3 chunks view distance ;)
