When i try to run the launcher, it comes up with the missing java message: The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Environment installation of the runtime is corrupted. The system cannot find the path specified. I have looked in the help section and found this exact error, reinstalled java as it said (twice now) and that had no effect. I restarted my computer, no effect, redownloaded the SK launcher, nuthin. it was all functioning perfectly not even 12 hours earlier, i have no idea what could have changed in that time. any other ideas on how i could tackle this would be much appreciated.
okay so, managed to talk with SK (THANKS SK!) and we solved the issue. instead of a straight reinstall, the problem was solved by a complete uninstall of everything java, and then installing the most recent version. Hope it helps anyone else who may have this issue.
