Alice stops loading

    operating system: windows 8
    Pc type: Pc
    my game gets stuck and doesn't contiue to load. I cant get on. I dedicated 2 gigs of ram. Please help , thanks. My crash report is in the paste bin link is also there.

    Try deleting minecraft/custom_jar.jar (right click the profile -> View folder) and afterwards, force updating (also on right click).

    Other things to try:
    1. I don't expect this to fix it, but go to Options and change PermGen to 256
    2. Delete the profile entirely and re-download

    Make sure You have 64 bit java. Thats why it wasnt working for me

    still doesn't want to load... does this mean i might just have to download the mods......

    Redownload the mods you mean?

    Maybe. What's the latest log look like? The same?

    If you allocated 2 gigs to it, then I'm stumped. I had a similar problem on my mac until I gave it more RAM. Are you on a 64-bit architecture or 32-bit, and do you have 64-bit java or 32-bit? The launcher (or OS, or Java, or whatever else) refuses to allocate memory unless you are 64-bit on windows (but other OSes don't care).

    i found out what i did wrong, i forgot to run as admin , its working now
