We've discovered Barrels Mod utilizing 60-95% of the network bandwidth of the server, and therefore we've added a rule to drop all Barrels Mod packets. Those with poor Internet connections should have less of a problem staying connected to the Minecraft server. People with Internet data caps should consume considerably less bandwidth. Logins on the server should now be much faster because the barrels mod is no longer sending a massive number of packets on login. The side effect is now that you cannot see the amount of items in a barrel. Consider switching to other storage solutions.
This might explain my connection issues. I have bad internet speed and mediocre ping. But oddly enough, I could play flawlessly yesterday evening yet this morning I always got connection resets. Let's see if it's better... after lunch. Sad thing though. I love barrels.

This makes me sad, since I was so happy that there was a replacement to factorization barrels. Maybe I'll look into an alternative....well, whatever is in my power atm I guess.
No fucking shit. But what I and probably a lot of people liked, was the graphical amount of the item in the barrel combined with the render of the item in the barrel. With that gone, i might as well look for another alternative if the newest update to the barrels mod doesn't solve the packet issues.
