So I'd just like to notify that the default Alice package posted on these forums will not work on any Mac. The problem is the META-INF folder. On Windows the META-INF folder needs to be completely deleted. On Macs it's a different case: instead of having the whole folder deleted, only the two files MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF need to be deleted. The file MANIFEST.MF must remain inside the META-INF folder in order for Minecraft to load past the start-up Mojang logo screen.

It's an easy fix however. (Directions made for Mac)
Simply take your default minecraft.jar and the Alice package, extract out both of their innards with archive utility, take the META-INF folder from the minecraft.jar folder and copy it into Alice's folder. Delete the two previously said files. Select all of Alice's files and archive them. Take the new Archive.zip change its whole name into alice.jar or whatever you'd like to name it so long as it has .jar at the end. Minecraft will now work on your mac!

Also included is the fixed file for the current snapshot. (This won't work on Windows, only Macs).

I would like to know what Mac and OS and Version you have. It works perfect for me, and I also built it on my Mac. I know Snow Leopard and Lion work.
