    I had suggested modifying the power requirements for AE before 1.5 was release. I can't find my OP, but I think I suggested a 20x power increase.

    I remember that buttons, but instead we got wireless remotes with massive range, and almost no power drain, and quantum network bridges with almost no power cost. :facepalm:

    Suck it up. It was an alternative to have so we could get rid of logistics pipes. Not that it really matters anymore since we're apparently getting it back in 1.6...

    I believe we are annoyed with the fact that the current energy requirements for AE are so low that it is no challenge to run a large AE network.

    As long as the cost to run the network is reasonably high. I don't feel that free long range remotes are that big an issue. IMHO

    Agreed. Having high energy costs would encourage players to build smaller, more efficient networks. I did that at my base, to lower server load. Most players need an incentive.
