Indeed, I've used it plenty of times, plus my server (Rikomagic Mk802iiis) runs a flavor of it 24/7 (Picuntu armhf)... Why?

I've dabbled in most distros...

Just curious to see if anyone is.

Ubuntu is great for beginners to linux, if you want something more light weight and something you can build upon to make it your own, and have a little experience with linux, or don't mind googling go with something like crunchbang, it is one of my favorites for gaming.
