The current status report on the update of Alice to 1.3.2 is: Not a single mod has been ported to Bukkit + multiplayer yet.
Haha, thanks for the update! I really don't mind, my computer can't play Minecraft at a reasonable frame rate at the moment anyway. Hopefully I can raise some money to build myself a good system.
I have a bad feeling about this... well, if all else fails, most of the mods are open source, and someone can probably port/patch them for SMP/Bukkit support sooner or later :3 keep up the good work, SK! also, quick question, will we get to know the seed of the new world? It'd be nice to be able to find slime chunks without using inefficient guess-and-check methods.
false. the server runs on bukkit. what he's talking about is the SERVER, not the LAUNCHER. the launcher is different.
furthermore, the mods on alice, due to bukkit integration, rely on mcportcentral.co.za and apparently there is no mcpc [their core part] for 1.3.2 they hafta get THAT ready before all those mods start kicking in
Still on about that eh? The only reason i HAD a mac in the first place was cause i was given it. I always planned on getting a pc but i never really had the money til now, so don't worry i won't be getting one
C'mon modders! Really looking forward to the reset but it is still looking weeks away. :'( I've been playing technic with a handful of extra mods, pretty fun for SSP. Shadow what kind of PC you getting? I would say build your own but that is always a project.
I was thinking of building my own actually, but my budget is limited so i'm still looking around for what i can get for my money.
My guess is that most of them are waiting for the mod api, Tired of updating the mods all the time. that's what i would do
The mod API is likely not going to be powerful enough so we might just end up still having Forge and decompiling.
