Was anyone else fortunate enough to get into the beta? Because I would like to play with some people I know to some extent and my IRL friends don't have it yet

haha I remember playing the original planetside beta...I wasn't that impressed so keep this post updated if the newest one is any good.
the graphics are stellar for a F2P but there are still some quite underpopulated servers where you can just go around and capture the entire map without many people stoping you. But if you get into a full scale battle it is AMAZING. (also why did you base your opinion of planet side 1 off it's beta )
Oh I've been through many many beta and a hand full of alphas and know what comes with the territory, I just didn't really care for how they were handling the concept and the game play just wasn't FUN. I like the idea of it, it's just like you said, IF you get into large scale battles I'm sure it is epicFPSsex but between those moments, meh? That's what I'm curious about.
You will not have to deal with them very much, the redeploy map lets you spawn into a large scale battles or near them quite easy also its nice for once to have a realistic time that you can sprint in a fps.
