No NEI (not enough items) shows up!

    Hey guys!

    My brother, who also plays on Alice has the strange "bug" that nothing, not even the "OPTIONS" in the bottom left corner shows up.

    Here is what we tried:

    - Pressing "O" ingame --> Result was that only the Index-numbers of the Items show//hide.
    - Deleting the whole .skcraftalice folder and loading it anew. --> Nothing changed.
    - I gave him my complete .skcraftalice folder --> Nothing changed.
    - He updated his Java --> Nothing.

    I think you know, why it is annoying to play without NEI as a newb.

    I would really, really appreciate Ideas!

    Btw: I know one other guy who has the same prob, but doesn't play atm. Also "freddy8" told me that he has this exact problem.

    Its a long shot but you might want to try and delete both the SKMCLauncher and the .skcraftalice files and completely restart the launcher, and if that doesn't work, I have no idea what will.

    Tell freddy8 his place is breaking all kinds of rules, and breaking my signs does not resolve them. That island was never supposed to be built on in the first place.

    @Cranimesao: You must be mistaken. "freddy8" is not my mate. I just talked about the prob ingame and he told me (us) he has the same prob. I don't even know where, what and when he build where. So you might wanna tell him yourself. [I have the slight feeling he and his friends are semi-trolls. Just a feeling I got while I read there "spamming" in the last days.

    @MadNess: What could that possibly have to do with that? I mean he can play and all. Just the Plugin doesnt show up.

    We now tried the following:

    -Update Java
    -Delete everythinh that has to do with MC and reload.
    -Log in with another MC account on his PC.

    Nothing of the above mad a change.

    But as he logged in with his account on my computer, it worked.
    So it has to be something at his PC... But I (and I know some things about IT with a few years of work experience.) have NO IDEA what could be tha cause.

    I have this very same, and a number of other graphical issues on one of my two PCs. Graphics Drivers are up to date.
    Computer with issues runs a GTX 460 1GB. One without issues runs a Radeon HD 6570. Could it be an NVIDIA issue?

    It isn't an NVIDIA issue, I have one of their graphics cards and I have had no issues. It is also in the same series as yours with the latest drivers.

    It could never be a graphics issue, if you ask me. You would AT LEAST see the options key.

    maybe, maybe the mod isn't even loading, maybe its got something to do with the launcher.

    The mod is loaded. Pressing 'r' or 'u' when hovering over an item still works.

    Well that makes it even weirder. The Mainproblem is really that it is wayy more easy and fun to play, especially when you're new to the server, with NEI.
